Air Amplifiers
Air Amplifiers are actually energy “converters” that convert the pressure from compressed air into useful and amplified air flow creating a simple, inexpensive means to move air, fumes, and light materials. Hence the original term “air movers”. Air Amplifiers use the “coanda effect” to entrain the surrounding air and create a high output flow. Because the energy normally lost as noise and pressure drop is converted to flow, the noise levels drop dramatically and the output flow is increased up to 25 times the air consumed.
Maintenance is virtually nil, the vacuum and output flow is easily controlled by increasing or decreasing the air gap and by the input pressure.
Tremendous Cooling Effect: A major application for air amplifiers is cooling due to the high flow and velocity produced Cycle time for cooling casting especially materials made of aluminum and copper is reduced dramatically using air amplifiers.

Zinc die cast Standard Air Amplfiers from Nex Flow™ are solid and perform as well or better than patented designs when used in similar applications. The gap can be adjusted by adding shims, five sizes are available.
